Mr. Burns, a Post-Electric Play by Anne Washburn is a dark comedy about the power of pop culture. It follows survivors after a nuclear collapse who piece together an episode of The Simpsons, watching that simple campfire memory evolve into a commercial theater troupe and, eventually, a grand, mythic tribal opera where Mr. Burns becomes a legendary villain.
