$200 per hour – show and rehearsal time
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
$100 per hour – show and rehearsal time
Discounts for rentals over 11 hours
$100 per hour – show and rehearsal time

*ALL HOLDS ON THEATRE CALENDAR REQUIRE A $25.00 Non-Refundable HOLD DEPOSIT DUE BEFORE DATE WILL BE HELD* (applies to any HOLDS after July 1st, 2024)

Additional Rates for Event/Rehearsal Services – Rates for Additional Services as Requested by Lessee or as Determined by the RGT Management: Applies to For Profit
and Non-Profit.

Additional Lighting Technician: $30.00 per hour per additional technician
Additional Sound Technician: $30.00 per hour per additional technician
Additional House Manager: $50.00 per hour per additional house manager
Additional Technical Director: $50.00 per hour per additional technical director
Additional Lighting Design: $180.00 minimum ($30.00 per hour after 6 hours)
Additional Sound Design: $60.00 minimum ($30.00 per hour after 2 hours)

Additional Rates for Support Personnel Services – If the RGT is to provide the foregoing support personnel services the following additional rates will apply: Applies to For Profit and Non-Profit

Service – Ushers: Hourly Rate $10.00 per Usher
Service – Box Office Attendant: Hourly Rate – $10.00 per Box Office Attendant
Service – Setup and Strike Personnel: Hourly Rate – $10.00 per Setup and Strike Pers.
Service – Stage Management Personnel: Hourly Rate – $15.00 per Stage Management Pers.

Equipment – For all Events and Rehearsals the following CVB equipment will be available for use at no additional charge: (i) hand-held microphones and stands or lapel microphones;
(ii) podium/lectern; and (iii) projector and screen. For all Events and Rehearsals, the following equipment is available to rent at the following rates: Applies to For Profit and Non-Profit.

Insurance – PERFORMER shall obtain and maintain insurance at its own cost and expense during the life of this Agreement, and shall require Subcontractors, if any, to maintain during
the life of his subcontract:

1. $1,000,000 (One Million Dollars) General Liability Insurance with the CITY named as an Additional Insured with the same coverage as the PERFORMER. Coverage must include:
a. Premises / Operations
b. Products / Completed Operations
c. Personal and Advertising Injury
d. The City of Las Cruces must be named as an Additional Insured.

2. $100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Dollars) Property Damage to rented premises Insurance.

3. In the case of any approved subcontract, the PERFORMER shall require the subcontractor to provide statutory Workers’ Compensation and Employers’ Liability Insurance, with the same
limits as those required by the PERFORMER.

4. Auto Liability – $1,000,000 – Each Accident, and must include:
a. Covers all owned, leased, hired, and non-owned autos or “any auto”

5. Worker’s Compensation Per New Mexico Statute (3 or more employees)
$1,000,000 – Bodily Injury: By Accident – Each Accident
$1,000,000 – By Disease: Policy Limit
$1,000,000 – By Disease: Each Employee
This coverage required for non-construction contractor with three (3) or more employees, or construction contractor with one (1) or more employees Exception: Not applicable to out-of-state companies unless they are hiring in New Mexico.

6. The PERFORMER must immediately notify the CITY if insurance is canceled or not renewed. The CITY must be named as additional insured – this coverage must be as broad as the coverage provided to the insured; coverage must be primary and non-contributory before any other insurance or self-insurance. A copy of the endorsement( s) must be provided as a condition of this Agreement. Waiver of Subrogation will apply and shall be noted on the certificate.

PERFORMER shall furnish the CITY with a certificate(s) of insurance showing PERFORMER and Subcontractors, if any, have complied with this Article. The PERFORMER shall provide insurance certificates before work is to start on the project and shall provide the CITY thirty (30) days written notification of cancellation of such policies.

Ticketing – Ticket set up and monitoring fee. Lessee acknowledges that RGT shall have no responsibility for ticketing any event that takes place during the Rental UNLESS ticketing services are contracted from RGT. Lessee further acknowledges that if ticketing services are NOT contracted from RGT, Lessee is responsible for providing a Box Office Attendant for the day(s) of the event. RGT may be contracted for ticketing services for a flat fee of $3 per ticket. Ticketing by RGT does not constitute any additional liability for costs of the events.

Deposit – A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the Total Estimated Rental Fee as set forth upon review of required services is due upon execution of Rio Grande Theatre Rental Agreement. Applies to For Profit and Non-Profit.
