The Rio Grande Theatre presents its first annual Theatre Summer Camp! In partnership with Blank Conversations Theatre Company and A Children’s Theatre of the Mesilla Valley! The camp is open to any child entering 1st thru 12th grade! This year’s camp will host three modules that can be signed up for in any configuration, including two separate plays and a series of daytime summer camp theatre classes! All campers will get to experience and be hands on with all aspects of the theatre including acting and tech! They won’t want to miss out! Registration is currently open with a limited number of slots for each module. • Costume Construction: Learn the basics of sewing and costume design, crafting unique pieces that enhance the performance.
• Set Design Workshop: Discover the creative process of set design, from interpreting scripts to building captivating sets on a budget.
• Sound Design and Effects: Explore the world of sound design, learning to create and incorporate sound effects and music to enhance the storytelling.

This exciting program is perfect for students of all experience levels, providing a fun and immersive learning experience. Campers will have the opportunity to work with experienced theatre professionals, gain hands-on experience, and collaborate with other creative minds.
