A documentary by local filmmaker Ed Breeding.

In our everyday life, most of us see the results of some artist’s work, and in our busy lives we may give it a quick glance, but then we continue on our way, for perhaps it has not grabbed and held us in its unyielding power.

The unique and amazing artists in this film endeavors to show you, the audience, the heart and soul/spirit of the depth and mystery that lies behind the surface of a dedicated, motivated, and consumed artist that cannot “not” do their art, for in truth, they MUST! live and create their ‘life-passion’, and in doing so they share with the world the purity and truth of what it takes to deserve the title of a TRUE ARTIST. Perhaps the works of Michaelangelo or Van Gough may enter our minds when we speak of such a person, for their life and works beautifully exemplifies the ‘true artist’. However, although the great artisans in this film may not have the worldwide recognition…yet…of such an artist, nevertheless, they each do have that magical and necessary ingredient which constitutes such a person.

The artists and their work in this film exemplifies the powerful, spiritual force that is the essence of their phenomenal creations, whether it be their paintings, music, films, photo-graphy or other art forms. Their finished works demands our attention because of their compelling spirit/soul that is alive and electrifying in their dedicated work. And with all the negativity that we see and experience in our world today, there has not been a better time than now for us to see and enjoy the spiritual beauty that this film offers, which can… counterbalance all the ugly negativity that we are confronted with daily.

Throughout our country, when someone thinks of great art in New Mexico, most often they may think of Santa Fe, and great art can be found there, but New Mexico’s second largest city, Las Cruces, is home to powerful artists whose diversity of work is every bit as good, if not better in many cases, as that found in Santa Fe.

Now, the time has arrived to share with the world an exceptional example of the spectacular and wonder-filled artists and their works living in Las Cruces, New Mexico. ENJOY THE RIDE!!
