RENTAL RATES

The following rental rates (profit/non-profit) apply for the use of the Rio Grande Theatre.

Event/Performance Rate: For Profit/Business

(over 5-hour Event Date maximum): $200

Event/Performance Rate: Non-Profit/Educational Org

Rehearsal/Meeting Rate: For Profit
Flat Rate Per Rehearsal Date
(4-hour per date maximum): $800.00
Flat Rate Per Hour
(over 4-hour Rehearsal date maximum): $200.00

Rehearsal/Meeting Rate: Non-Profit
Flat Rate Per Rehearsal Date

Flat Rate Per Hour

Additional Rates for Event/Rehearsal Services – Rates for Additional Services as Requested by Lessee or as Determined by the RGT Management: Applies to For Profit and Non-Profit

Additional Lighting Technician: $30.00 per hour per additional technician
Additional Sound Technician: $30.00 per hour per additional technician
Additional House Manager: $50.00 per hour per additional house manager
Additional Technical Director: $50.00 per hour per additional technical director
Additional Lighting Design: $180.00 minimum ($30.00 per hour after 6 hours)
Additional Sound Design: $60.00 minimum ($30.00 per hour after 2 hours)

Additional Rates for Support Personnel Services – If the Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) is to provide the foregoing support personnel services the following additional rates will apply: Applies to For Profit and Non-Profit

Service – Ushers: Hourly Rate $10.00 per Usher
Service – Box Office Attendant: Hourly Rate – $10.00 per Box Office Attendant
Service – Setup and Strike Personnel: Hourly Rate – $10.00 per Setup and Strike Pers.
Service – Stage Management Personnel: Hourly Rate – $15.00 per Stage Management Pers.

Equipment – For all Events and Rehearsals the following CVB equipment will be available for use at no additional charge: (i) hand-held microphones and stands or lapel microphones; (ii) podium/lectern; and (iii) projector and screen. For all Events and Rehearsals, the following equipment is available to rent at the following rates: Applies to For Profit and Non-Profit

Baby Grand Piano: $100.00
Baby Grand Piano Tuning Prior to Event if required: $60.00

Insurance – Lessee shall obtain liability insurance in the minimum of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000) for each day of the Event and for each day of the Rehearsal. Such insurance shall name City of Las Cruces as an additional insured.

Ticketing – CVB may be contracted only for on-line ticketing services for a negotiable percentage of net on-line ticketing sales. Negotiated percentage of ticket sales will be based on all factors of costs and expenses of Event, and will be negotiated by RGT Venue Manager or CVB Executive Director.

Deposit – A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the Total Estimated Rental Fee as set forth upon review of required services is due upon execution of Rio Grande Theatre Rental Agreement. Applies to For Profit and Non-Profit
